Maison Apprêt was created after its founder struggled to find a chopping board that truly met the needs of a busy family home. She wanted something safe for young children, practical enough for serious home cooking and thoughtfully designed so it looked beautiful on the kitchen bench.
When the right option didn’t exist, she decided to create it. Over two years were spent researching materials and refining the design, carefully balancing safety, functionality and aesthetics. The result is a range of chopping boards made to be used every day and loved for years to come.
